Never heard so much rubbish, religions exist through doctrination. Put a baby on the moon or mars let a robot help bring him up and do not tell him about humanity. Would religions exist then? No one of told him about religion or God so he wouldn't.
Religion is mans biggest blunder and a throw back to the dark ages. In 500 years or so, our relatives to be will look back and chuckle in their classrooms learning about how we used to believe these silly stories of burning bushes and complete bollocks!

[...] Elisabeth Rappe wrote an interesting post today onHere’s a quick excerptFirst of all, I want you to try and imagine a color that doesn’t exist. If you can, well you are either a genius, or a hoax. I think that our imagination draws its creative prowess from the things around us. … [...]

The author believes in ghosts but cannot prove it. He starts of by stating an experience of his uncle regarding his son who just died. Next is that weird feeling people get when they 'sense' something but can not see it. Then there is the existence of ghost hunters. There are belivers in ghosts like there are believers of Religion. Then the author ends by saying that those things do no porve that ghosts exists but it HELPS prove.

-nice and interesting topic.
-I liked your intro. A hook indeed
-could have been more organized
-the last two were not anecdotes, they were just explanations
-nice title. i love mythbusters :)

The author believes, though cannot prove, that ghosts exists. The author then provides an anecdote where his father had a dreams about the author's dying cousin. Then, the phone rang the next morning bringing news of grief. The author then parallelizes ghosts with water, air, and emotions; these are things that cannot be seen but can be felt. Finally, the author parallelizes the belief in ghosts with Christian beliefs; a few people have claimed to see ghosts but a lot believes in these entities while a few people have seen Jesus and a lot believes in Him. The author finishes his entry with a restatement of his belief in ghosts.

a. The entry showed thought and effort. He analyzed and compared different objects and beliefs with ghosts in a new perspective.
b. The entry was not so clear and not so organized. The transitions were perfect, but the organization of idea was a bit random. Also, it was instructed that 3 anecdotes to be presented, but the way I see it, there is only one anecdote and the rest are explanations on the belief / existence of ghosts.
c. The topic was interesting and substantial. I honestly like ghosts, they intrigue me a lot. Prowling in the dark, I always wonder whether there are other entities that are with my while patrolling the streets of Gotham. Also, the author seems to have done some research in order to support the belief in ghosts. But, as stated earlier, these research may be omitted and replaced with anecdotes.

"I like black. Black is cool. My name is Batman" -tsssssss... boo!!

I'll probably die earlier than you do. If there is an afterlife and the possibility of ghosts appearing to those who still live, I'll let you know. ;)
